House of Artists

Since 1981 the House of Artists in Gugging has been offering artistically talented individuals full-care housing where they can feel at home.

Unmistakable – colorfully painted by the artists themselves – it is located on a hill in the Vienna Forest, in the town of Maria Gugging (Klosterneuburg).

A multiprofessional team enables our residents to lead as autonomous a life as possible in a familial atmosphere within a stable environment, empowering them to pursue their artistic activities.

Beyond this, the association also seeks to strengthen the position of `Art Brut` artists within the general context of the art world and is pursuing a comprehensive recognition of their achievements.
