The
villa is a small, freestanding house opposite the main building. Forming part of the
Art / Brut Centre, the
Villa was planned and designed as a venue for various functions. It offers space for about 140 people as well as equipment for parties, meetings, readings, concerts, theatre- and other performances. It provides (among other things) light- sound- and video equipment, a cloakroom, toilets and washing rooms. The
Villa is used for intern functions, but it can also be rented for public or private events.
A special artistic feature lies in the large wooden panels along the inner sidewalls of the hall: They were designed by Oswald TSCHIRTNER.

The
Villa’s opening in 2005 finally created a larger forum for specialised symposiums and lectures on
→ Art Brut,
Outsider Art and related subjects. These specialised talks will be awarded even more attention in the future. More details concerning the programme can be found on our
