Maria Gugging forms part of the Community of
Klosterneuburg. It is situated in the Vienna Woods,
approximately 12 miles north-west of Vienna, Austria
and in the immediate vicinity to the
Institute of Sience and Technology, IST Austria.
By Car:
• From Vienna: take the B14 (express way) to
• Klosterneuburg. Continue in the direction of Tulln (for 6 km / 3,7 miles)
• via Kierling to Maria Gugging.
• After the sign “Maria Gugging”, turn right on the roundabout and
• follow the signs along the lane up the hill.
By Bus / Train:
• From Vienna - U4 get off at the last stop Wien-Heiligenstadt.
• Take the bus number 239 towards
• Maria Gugging/Lourdesgrotte and get off at the stop called
• Art / Brut Center Gugging and IST Austria and
• follow the signs along the lane up the hill.
